The aviation industry has grown exponentially over the past years, generating more than 1,300 new airlines since the early 1970s. As the single largest market in the world, Asia is undoubtedly poised to play a pivotal role in the sector’s future growth.
Nanyang Business School and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) have joined forces to offer a one-of-a-kind executive MBA programme specifically designed for global aviation professionals. This powerful alliance undoubtedly places Nanyang Business School and IATA at the forefront of leadership development in this dynamic sector.
“The partnership between IATA and NTU is aimed at developing a new generation of global aviation leaders for the growing markets of Asia.” – Mr Giovanni Bisignani, Director General Emeritus, IATA.
The aviation and air transport track offers a rigorous general management framework and powerful insights from the world’s most distinguished industry leaders.
In addition to core modules on the NTU Singapore campus, participants attend a three-week segment at IATA’s Training and Development Institute in Geneva, Switzerland, where they analyse hot-bed issues facing the industry such as aviation law, airport strategic management, and aviation safety and security.
Participants may also enhance their knowledge of sustainable business models by attending an optional module at MIT’s Sloan School of Management and Wharton School, offered at a special rate for EMBA participants and alumni.
Aviation-track participants attend five 2-week segments – four on the NTU Singapore campus, and one at the IATA headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.
