The aviation industry witnesses exponential annual growth in Asia alone, and requires trained and experienced airline managers to pilot its demands. Nanyang Technological University (NTU) has partnered with the International Air Transport Authority (IATA) to design a curriculum specifically for aviation professionals. This is the first time that IATA is collaborating with an Asian university to develop and upgrade human capital for the global aviation industry.

Our class profile for the Aviation & Air Transport AMP includes exceptional senior managers with more than 8 years’ experience in the aviation and air transport sectors. They usually have a minimum of 5 years’ managerial experience and have an average age of 37. While majority of our participants are Singaporeans, we have also seen many international students.
Established in 1945, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) is a global industry trade group of airlines, with international headquarters in Quebec, Canada, executive offices in Geneva, Switzerland and operations in more than 150 countries.
The association currently comprises 240 airlines from 126 countries, which comprise 84% of the total air traffic. In line with its overarching mission to represent, lead and serve the airline industry, IATA spearheads numerous activities designed to provide safe and secure transportation to its passengers. The designation of airport codes, travel agent accreditation, cargo accreditation and myriad member services are among IATA’s activities.
You Gain Professional Recognition
This Advanced Management Programme and Executive MBA Programme grant you the professional credential of Certified Aviation Management Professional (AvMP) and you will be registered with IATA. You can use this AvMP designation after your name on business materials as a symbol of excellence and professionalism in the industry. Records are archived with the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and are available for verification upon request.
The tuition fee for the IATA-Nanyang AMP in Aviation & Air Transport for 2014-15 academic year is S$30,000(excluding Singapore taxes). The fee covers tuition, most teaching materials and meals when classes are in session. Other expenses, accommodation and travel-related costs, are not included in the programme fee. Participants are responsible for all travel and visa arrangements.

The 4-week AMP in Aviation & Air Transport can be attended without taking on the full EMBA.
Applicants to the AMP programme should inform the Admissions Officer their intention to upgrade to the EMBA Programme before the start of the AMP, so that participants can be graded during the course of the AMP.
